Karomi Technology has developed Electronic Document Management Software (EDMS) system which includes Digital Asset Management, Content Management, Document Imaging and Scanning. Our Document Management Software provides a foundation for the computerized management of electronic as well as paper-based documents. Management activities around documents may include the capture, collaboration, creation, editing, control and distribution of scanned and electronic documents. Powerful Workflow Engine

The karomiENTERPRISE Workflow Server controls the execution of workflow processes using process definitions and status information. Process definitions created in the Designer are stored in the Workflow Server database and used by the Server to decide what actions to take at each step of the workflow. It uses the XPDL industry standard developed by the Workflow Management Coalition (WfMc). It is scalable and robust, and supports parallel and serial queues, conditional routing and more. It also supports user, group and role-based participants, deadlines, escalations and alerts.

Graphic Workflow Designer
Non-IT staff and business specialists can model business processes through a user-friendly, graphical modeling environment. The resulting process map is the guide to integrating people, processes and applications. Even the most complex processes can be modelled with minimal programming skills.

Electronic Forms Designer
Design powerful Web-based user interfaces for workflow applications using a WYSIWYG interface. Create unique, sophisticated forms customised to your needs, all using simple graphic controls and formatting objects.

Seamless Database Links
Integrate with databases and applications using XML interchange and ODBC connectivity.

Monitor
The status of any workflow process can be monitored from the browser. Different users can have different views of the processes based on their access levels.
 

Reports

Generate custom Web-based reports to measure and improve business processes. Monitor activities and obtain real-time graphical insights into the health and status of ongoing business processes and activities.

Organization Charts
Graphical organization charts make workflow aware of reporting relationships.

Browser Client

An easy-to-use Task List is available to every user through the Web browser. Users can monitor, view and participate in the workflow from the browser.Document Attachments:Easily attach documents, files, or images for internal or Internet routing with the workflow.

E-Mail Enabled

Use your existing mail system for proactive notification of workflow tasks, such as reminders, alerts and escalation messages. Mails sent can be individually configured for content.

Portal Integration
The Workflow Management System is seamlessly integrated with the karomiENTERPRISE Portal, so that users can view workflow progress and charts from their Portal homepage.
